Party Perfect - The Beauty Routine to Look Your Best This Holiday Season

The holidays are here and you want your skin to look flawless this holiday season? I am so with you!  But it is hard with harsh, winter weather, late night parties, travel, stressing over gifts and all the other things that sometimes make the holidays a less than optimal time for your skin.  But we have the fixes to help you look flawless for those holiday photos!

So how do we get perfect skin this holiday season? Here are a few of our tips:

1) Don't change your routine too much.  I know the holidays are busy but now is not the time to forget to take off your makeup and miss the products you know that work for your skin.  It is also not the time to try things that will be harsh on your skin.  Winter skin is often dry and sensitive so harsh products can sometimes make that worse.  I try to stick with the cleansers, creams, and serums that I know work well for me and then use the masks or once a week treatments that are gentle but effective for the extra help my skin needs in the winter.  

2) Drink lots of water.  I know you know this but it really matters in the winter.  Winter weather means you are often in heated buildings or cars which dry out your skin. This is also party season so you are drinking lots of champagne and wine...another skin drier.  And you are staying up late so extra caffeine is helping you keep up with all the shopping and wrapping you still have to do...another skin drier.  Yikes what to do?  Drink lots and lots of water.  Making sure you are well-hydrated will keep your skin glowing and healthy.  It can help alleviate the harsh weather and seasonal skin driers that can cause your skin to look sallow, wrinkles or flaky. 

3) Fake it 'til you make it. So you went to a party, had one too many cocktails, and forgot to take off your makeup before bed?
