If you struggle with timekeeping, try using tools like calendars or to-do lists to stay organised and work on your time management skills. Prioritise the tasks that you have to the most to least important, and set realistic deadlines for yourself.. Personal Presentation/Grooming Your personal presentation plays a significant role in how others perceive you in the workplace. We all like to express ourselves to some extent in the way that we look, but depending on the job you have, the rules might be strict. For example, some companies won’t allow colourful hair, facial piercings or tattoos. Customer and client facing roles are likely to require you to look smart and well groomed. In many kinds of jobs, unkempt appearance or poor personal hygiene will create a negative impression and affect your professional reputation. Take care to dress well for your job and maintain good personal grooming habits.
