Have you seen the 1970s fashion that is all over the place these days? Well I have tried to tap into some of that recently with a 70s glam party - Studio 54 theme. If you don't know Studio 54, it was the "it" club in New york City in the 1970s. Every celebrity was there and it was definitley a see and be seen club like none other history. We had a blast recreating all things Studio 54 and finding retro glam to wear that night. I think our theme will give you some good inspiration for your New Year's Eve plans. I have put in outfit ideas for you and the men in your life. FOR THE WOMEN First, I went back to the beginning of glam fashion in the 1970s. Halston was the premier glam fashion designer. His dresses graced celebrities like Liza Minnelli, Brook Shields, and Bianca Jagger. Talk about fashion icons! This year Halston has a 1970s line that I am loving and this is silver dress I am wearing here (show above) It is only sale now 30% off with code AFTERCHRISTMAS. I had it somewhat shortened just because I knew I would be dancing all night - it is a floor length dress when you buy it. I also have linked a similar looks here for just $38 and plus size here for just $58. One of my besties wore another amazing blue Halston dress here and also on sale (pictured below). Isn't she the 70s style perfected! And if you just want to browse my favorite party looks by Halston click here. All 30% off with code AFTERCHRISTMAS. For your accessories - all things glam applies. My earrings are linked here and are just $14! My hand bag (not shown) is also linked here and is available in 3 colors and is just $38!
FOR MY MAN Velvet - which is so back this season - is the perfect addition to any 1970s style. So, I added it to my husband's outfit. To finish out your man's look I have linked my husband burgandy velvet jacket here and it is available in four colors (blue, green, burgundy and red) and on super duper sale - now just $100! I have also linked similar picks here in gray which I just love and it is also on super sale for just $188 - regularly $300. For my husband's bow ties and cummerbund I used a new company that I have totally fallen in love with. Its called Brackish and they may amazing products out of sustainably harvested feathers. My husbands exact bow tie and cummerbund are linked here and here. They have really stand out products that make a tux anything but ordinary. Plus if you want to add a flare to your own outfit - check out their women's loafers here. Here's to rocking it this New Year's Eve!

Since I could not send you all each a Christmas card I thought I would post them for you to see. So Merry Christmas! I hope you have a blessed day with friends and family.
Have you heard about Minted? This is the company I use to send all my cards and invitations to any event. I use them all the time. They did my wedding invitations, my birthday invitations and my Christmas/new year cards just in the last 14 months. They have amazing patterns that you can choose from done by various artists so the cards are really unique. Even better they are customizable. You can edit the borders, the backs, the language - everything to fit your needs. You can print on both sides as well - so you can do a picture on the front and do more details on the back. The best thing about Minted is that they do pre-printed address labeling - often for free! It saves so much writing. I loaded up my mailing addresses easily and now I never worry where an address is! Plus as you can see from my envelopes the addressing is really ornate. I chose holly theme for my holiday cards. They can also do return address labeling. I chose the banner theme this year. I really liked the pop of color it added to my cards. The turn around time varies but it can be really fast if you waive proofing/review of the images. Even if you proof it they usually turn it around in less than 8 hours which I think is pretty impressive. So maybe you did not send out your holiday cards yet or maybe you like to send your well wishes in the New Year. If so, you still have time to order your New Year's cards plus 15% off your order - just click coupon link! Here's to a very happy holiday season to you and yours!

BIRCHBOX Birchbox - Birchobox sends men and women sample size beauty products and other cool gadgets that anyone on your list is sure to love. I have bought this for myself and my husband. You can customize the box for your skin type and other preferences so the things you get can be really tailored to your needs. The best thing about a Birchbox subscription is that the recipient will get an email of your gift after you buy it - no shipping costs and your shopping is done! There is no long term committment either. You can cancel anytime. My husband wasn't into men's "beauty" products when I bought him this gift. But he loved the idea of getting his boxes each month and we both really enjoyed trying out the items. He was a member for about 2 years and now we just buy products directly from Birchbox that he really likes. It's always such a good variety of products it is sure to please everyone on your list! Plus my husband got so many products he could not use them all. The result? I got to steal a great wallet out of the box that I still use to this day. The point? The gift that may give back more to you too! (Above picture c/o Birchbox) RENT THE RUNWAY Rent the Runway allows you to try all kinds of designer clothes for any occassion. If you have not rented from them, it is so much fun. They always sent alternate sizes so there is really no risk that the clothes won't fit. Plus they have a monthly subscription option for just $139/month - cancel any time. Wouldn't that be a great gift for a sister or friend? They are such unique watches for men and women. They are made of wood! And boy do these guys know how to work this material.
MY WATCH: My watch shown above is a zebrawood with an emerald face. How good does the green look for the holiday seaon? I have already gotten so many compliments on it. It is definitely a new favorite. The other thing I love is how lightweight the watch is. As you can see I like to pile it on my wrist so a light watch is fantastic for layering lots of pieces. Plus their watches are available in men's and women's versions. Just think - a men's watch for the hubby for Christmas and women's watch for you! Shopping done! And to make the gift even more special - they can engrave your watch on the back! What a great way to personalize this present for those you love! This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking through my links. So around the world may be a little bit of an overstatement but I took this winter look throughout all of Disney's Epcot visiting each of the countires represented. My husband and I had an amazing time staying at the Boardwalk Villas just outside of Epcot. It was a beautiful hotel just steps away (literally) from my favorite Disney spot - Epcot! When I know I am going to walk all over the world (of Epoct) I have to dress comfortably and will do anything to keep from fussing with my hair or clothes. I also have to make sure my feet are comfy no matter what; so flats are a must. Hats are staples when I travel - I want to experience where I am - not have to worry about my hair. Clothes have to be sturdy enough to hold up to all the demands of travel so I wear trusted, quality duds. Purse has to be a cross body. I want to be able to hands free for whatever the day holds. And finally the sunnies - well you just have to have them! So I have put together my travel staples here and I hope these picks will help you travel to Epcot or wherever your next adventure may take you.
