HR can be a little overlooked as a career, however it’s an integral part of any company which can provide a wealth of opportunities for candidates. As an in-house attorney, I have had the privilege of working extensively with human resources department in various companies. This department is responsible for everything to do with the staff side of a business, covering everything from training and recruitment, benefits, payroll and redundancy and more. It’s also responsible for implementing employment law, and so it's extremely important and something that no business can do without. I have known many people that have started as lawyers and then transferred into HR. It is a role that you may not have started in but you can learn HR. Working in the human resources department of a company can be surprisingly rewarding, and so if you’re planning on taking this route with your career, here are a few things to consider.

It’s a given that you will have to spend time researching the subject of your presentation, and we can trust that you know best what is needed there. Are you ready to take that next step and change your career? So many people are unhappy with their jobs that it’s almost become the norm. Perhaps you’re in the same boat.
