 Coronavirus quarantine has many small businesses reeling. It has been a tough adjustment for me and I am sure for you too. SBA Disaster Assistance Loans for COVID-19 Impacted Businesses The United States Small Business Administration is offering designated states and territories low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital to small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19). These loans offer up to $2 million in assistance for a small business. Disaster Unemployment Assistance Are you an artist, entrepreneur, freelancer, service employee, or other occupation interrupted by the COVID-19 outbreak? The Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA) program provides unemployment benefits to individuals — including the self-employed — who have become unemployed as a direct result of a presidentially declared major disaster. In order to qualify for this benefit your employment or self-employment must have been lost or interrupted as a direct result of a major disaster declared by the President of the United States.
