Straw Man? Update Your Summer Work Wardrobe with Straw, Raffia and Linen Under $100

Lightening up your summer work wardrobe is one of my favorite things about the summer time.  It is not just lighter, airier colors that can update your work style this summer.  It is the fabrics like linen, straw and raffia that I love adding into my workwear to make them really stand out from other times of the year. You can easily add these to your blazers, jewelry, bags and shoes for the perfect summer style and still be perfectly work appropriate.

I recently bought some straw earrings and I have worn them so much lately. That purchase inspired me to think through my summer pieces and how you could add those to your work looks too.  I started dusting off those items I put away for the winter and was so excited to find some great, timeless pieces I can reincorporate into my work style. 

Summer Workwear - Linen has to be my favorite pick for updating your summer suiting. You don't even need to buy a whole suit - a linen blazer can do the trick and our picks are under $100 and in lots of color options.  We also found some perfect linen dresses for the office - you may be able to work outside in these perfect summer work dresses.  Lastly, we added in some raffia heels and slides that are easy to wear to the office plus can double up for extra use for your summer weekend style.

Summer Accessories - Straw and linen bags are the easiest ways I have found to update my purses.  But do be careful - linen bags can show wear and are easy to get dirty - make sure you pen caps are closed (from experience....)  I found straw bags to be a little more sturdy.  Raffia shoes and earrings are all the rage right now and there are tons of colors available in all my picks below.  Plus they are so lightweight its easier to wear these, trendy, oversized earrings all day long without wearing down your ear lobes!
