Think you cannot get away with a graphic tee at work? I disagree. I think a graphic tee can be a fun way to express your personality and can be added to your work wardrobe staples like.... these pics! I have been wearing my graphic tees at work recently and I have gotten so many compliments. You will see all mine happen to be bands - I might have a crush on all things rock n' roll. Band Tees Kiss | Blondie | Def Leppard | AC/DC | Aerosmith | Sunnies Black Jeans | Black Pants | Black Jacket | Blue Jacket (similar $79) | Citron Jacket (Similar $89) | Jewelry Purple Heels (40% off) | Blue heels (Manolo Blahnik) and Blue Heels (similar $45) Quilted Bag (Similar in 6 colors) | Leopard Bag (Similar on sale $25) So what is the secret to wearing a graphic t-shirt at work? I think you have to keep the look professional. For me that means adding a jacket that puts a professional polish (pun intended) to the look. I also try to keep the other parts of the outfit simple. I use solid colors and no other patterns so that the t-shirt is what stands out. I also think adding a polish like heels rather than casual shoes can really dress it up. I think you should be cautious not to have any political or controversial statements on your shirt. That could cause unwanted problems in the office. But you should feel free to have fun with it.
I have linked several of my favorite rock band t-shirts above. All sizes available and they range from $36-$48. Guaranteed super soft. I also link to my outfit staples that are worn with the graphic t-shirts like the jeans and sunnies. The black jacket comes in three colors and has matching pants that I wear together like I did with Beatles look or often wear as separates. I love the cut of all three of these jackets because there are no front buttons. They define a waist without constricting. The blue and citron jackets are both available in plus sizes too. The heels are some of my favorite colored heels - blue heels and purple heels. I have gotten so much wear out of colored heels lately because they add a punch to any outfit. The quilted bag and the gray bag are from a favorite designer Lenny e Cia from Brazil but I linked a dupe for just $60 and it comes in 6 fab colors. Jewelry is from a favorite Houston jewelry designer Laura J. Finery and you can get a great discount if you use the code polishedprofessionals when you check out! I hope this posts opens up your t-shirt drawer to your work day attire! Enjoy!
