You have seen this color everywhere this year - its not bright pink, not rose, not salmon - it's blush! The perfect pink color that has transitioned from this winter into our spring wardrobes. I am not just seeing blush in clothes, shoes and handbags. I am seeing it all over my favorite beauty products.  

In the above pic - yes I am in a blush trench - but check out the makeup. The perfect shades of blush on my lips, cheeks, and eyes. I have the same make up in the below look for another view of this great color palette.  I love these paler shades for softening any look and highlighting your natural features. Also these colors can work on different skin tones. I will say these two pics were taken hours apart and I love the long wear ability of the lipstick and blushes.

The lip pencil is my go to to really change the shape of your lips and it goes with any lip color. Beachy Waves are one of my favorite looks for warm weather! It is relatively easy to do and I usually get a few days out of one prep because relaxed, messy curls are part of the look.  I have listed some easy pointers for getting beach waves (I have thin and straight to wavy hair naturally so know that is what I am starting with).  

Step 1:  Apply Primer and Mousse: Click for my Primer and Mouse 

• Mist a primer throughout clean, damp hair. 
• Lightly spray mousse from roots to ends working from root to ends. 
• For targeted volume at the crown, spray only on the roots and comb through evenly.

Step 2: Dry Hair: Click for my Hair Dryer

• Rough-dry hair using your fingers and a blow-dryer until completely dry. 
• For extra lift at the root, flip your hair over your head while drying.

Step 3: Adjust Product: Click for my Brush

• If you have too much product, your hair may feel sticky and hard to comb. In that case, use your brush to break it up and redistribute the product.

Step 4: Make it Last: Click for my Dry Shampoo

• A dry shampoo is my favorite way to wake up day 2 (or 3) beach waves.  I like to flip my hair over and spray underneath first and then at the roots.  I usually leave the tips alone so they don't dry out too much.
