Beach Wave Ready

Beachy Waves are one of my favorite looks for warm weather! It is relatively easy to do and I usually get a few days out of one prep because relaxed, messy curls are part of the look.  I have listed some easy pointers for getting beach waves (I have thin and straight to wavy hair naturally so know that is what I am starting with).  

Step 1:  Apply Primer and Mousse: Click for my Primer and Mouse 

• Mist a primer throughout clean, damp hair. 
• Lightly spray mousse from roots to ends working from root to ends. 
• For targeted volume at the crown, spray only on the roots and comb through evenly.

Step 2: Dry Hair: Click for my Hair Dryer

• Rough-dry hair using your fingers and a blow-dryer until completely dry. 
• For extra lift at the root, flip your hair over your head while drying.

Step 3: Adjust Product: Click for my Brush

• If you have too much product, your hair may feel sticky and hard to comb. In that case, use your brush to break it up and redistribute the product.

Step 4: Make it Last: Click for my Dry Shampoo

• A dry shampoo is my favorite way to wake up day 2 (or 3) beach waves.  I like to flip my hair over and spray underneath first and then at the roots.  I usually leave the tips alone so they don't dry out too much.
