Dark Spots Go Away!

So I have always said that maybe - one day - my freckles and dark spots will connect and I will look tan.... I know - not likely. But I struggle to make sure that the only leopard spots people see are on my dress - not my face! In the summer months when I spend more time in the sun, I notice that my freckles and dark spots become a lot more prominent.  I try to keep them at bay with SPF and brightening products to minimize or cover these dark spots so I can get a more even looking complexion.  So here is my routine and hopefully some of these will help you keep your spot at bay this summer.
NIGHT TIME ROUTINE
I always try to use a product that will help minimize my dark spots in my night time routine. I like this serum to even my skin tone and I typically use it once to twice a day.  My go to mask has to be the most fun mask in the world.  It is a hydrating and brightening mask that foams up on your face when you put it on and then as your skin soaks up the great ingredient the foam gradually goes away.  I love how lightweight this mask is - especially in the hot summer months. See my pic below in this mask.

DAY TIME ROUTINE
I always make sure I have on SPF - all the time.  This SPF is my go to and dermatologist recommended to keep me from breakouts.  I put this spf on under my foundations/powders. I have used it for years and really notice a difference.  It is long lasting and does not sweat off easily during your outdoor, summer sweat sessions.

MAKEUP
For my makeup I do everything I can to cover up spots (and of course acne). For full face coverage in one step, I use this CC cream which has an additional SPF and helps with color correcting.  This concealer I have in every bag and drawer. It covers FULLY a multitude of problems including dark spots and acne.  I finish my makeup with this SPF powder when I need one more layer of coverage or for a more matte look to my makeup.

For on the go touch ups I use this mineral based powder with SPF 30 or SPF 50. It easily fits in anything and has color coverage and additional sun protection in those long days outdoors.

Each of these products are in the pictures below.  Scroll with arrows to see all the products and just click on the picture to be taken directly to each product.

Now hopefully all of our dark spots will be a thing of the past!
