RIP Karl - But Remember Chanel Beauty

We are so sad to hear of the passing of Karl Lagerfeld. His creativity and class was always a driving force behind the Chanel brand but the beauty of Chanel remains....Check out our favorite Chanel beauty favorites in this post! 

We are always on the hunt for long lasting beauty products and Chanel does not disappoint. We have used both the Chanel waterproof and regular mascara.  For ease of removal, we like the regular Chanel mascara better but have linked both in case you need extra staying power.  This mascara separates the lashes fabulously and needs no primer - in fact I think it works better without a lash primer.  Black is our go to color but there are other mascara colors available. 

The Chanel Duo Ultra Tenue Ultra Wear Lip Colour is a total game changer to the lipstick game. I bought this at Bergdorf's during New York Fashion Week this month and I have not stopped wearing it since.  This lipstick has a liquid lipstick and wand plus a high shine gloss.  The liquid lipstick goes on easily without needing several layers (read I like this much better than Lip Sense for ease of application). Let the color dry for a few seconds and then dab on 2-3 drops of the gloss and your lipstick will not move for hours and hours....seriously! And the colors are insanely perfect.  Our favorites are Sensual Rose and Soft Coral.  

We would be remiss if we did any Chanel beauty post without our favorite Chanel scents - we added the hub's favorite scent (and mine on him) and the classic for the ladies Chanel No. 5.
