Have we all tried fake lashes? I have. I hated having to replace my lashes so frequently or getting the inevitable wonky lash that would go in the wrong direction. Or worse, the glue to stick on lashes each time I really wanted my eyes to stand out. So my hunt has recently be "on" looking for the best new mascara on the market. I had been stuck in a mascara rut and was really unsatisfied with everything I had been wearing (and candidly I was using the same brand for several years). But it has happened - I have finally found the duo to really make some eye pop happen - without the refills or the glue or the wonky lash! The first is an eyelash primer. I did not really think that an eyelash primer would make a difference but boy was I wrong. You use an eyelash primer prior to putting on any mascara. It helps boost the lash volume and helps make the mascara you yes go a lot farther. This is the primer that I have been using. It comes as a duo primer and mascara if you want to try that. I will say that I like this combo but I have used this primer with other mascaras and seen fabulous results. To me, this primer makes every mascara better. As far as mascara goes, this one is the motherload I have been waiting for. My requirement is that is helps give volume to my thin lashes, that it helps them curl up - rather than stick out straight as a board, and that it doesn't clump. Is that too much to ask? I think not. Well this mascara delivers. And for $32 I say do it. It comes in three colors (a black, a brown, and a blue) and in waterproof and non-waterproof. I have used the black waterproof version in these pictures. Check out the before and after below. If you want to add just a little more "umph" I also recommend this eyelash curler. I have straight lashes so a little extra help to curl my lashes up is always appreciated. If you are still wanting to try the perfect product for your lashes - I learned what I liked by buying this eyelash kit. For just $48 you get seven deluxe samples and two full size mascaras - including major name brands like Dior and YSL. This price is right to find your next go to products. Click on the pictures below to be taken directly to these products featured in this post - including my go to makeup remover (no products needed - even for waterproof mascara!)
