Vamp It Up for Valentine's Day

It's Valentine's Day in just a few days and whether you are dining out out with your significant other or hitting the town with your galentines, this is the holiday to vamp up your look.  We have beauty picks for smoky, sultry, saucy, and everything in between.

In the look above, I went for a smokier eye than I do in my day to day routine. I also used false eyelashes to give my eyes a little more emphasis. I tend to opt for a darker glue for my lashes - to me it kind of acts like an eyeliner rather than the clear glue.  

I definitely amped up the contouring factor as well with subtle browns, pinks, and highlights across the face. I opted for a more subtle lip because the rest of my makeup was darker.  I often treat my makeup like my accessories - layer on a lot and then take off one thing before I walk out the door.  That - at least in my opinion - keeps the makeup from looking - well - just too much. We have to make sure the whole look stays "all night long" so I set this look with my favorite setting spray that never - ever - allows your makeup to move!
